Sacred to the memory of RODERICK FRAZER ROBERTSON son of F. Robertson Esq., of Dundee who died at Macao on the 10th day of January 1839, aged 20 years. Erected by the associates in Canton.
In memory of EDWARD G. LARKINS of Portsmouth N.H. who died on board the U.S.S. John Adams June 1839. Aged 28 years. Erected by the officers of "John Adams".

Sacred to the memory of the RIGHT HONOURABLE LORD HENRY JOHN SPENCER CHURCHILL, 4th son of George 5th Duke of Marlborough. The RIGHT HONOURABLE LORD H.J. SPENCER CHURCHILL Captain of H.B.M. ship "Druid" and senior officer in the Canton seas died on 2nd June 1840. Aged 43 years.
LIEUTENANT JOHN ASTELL R.N. died October 26th 1840. Aged 27 years.
Captain SIR HUMPHREY LE FLEMING SENHOUSE, R.N. C.B. & K.C.H. of Seascale in the County of Cumberland Senior officer in command of the British Fleet in the China Seas, died on board H.M.S. Blenheim at Hong Kong on the 13th June 1841 aged 60 years, from the effects of fever contracted during the zealous performance of his arduous duties at the capture of the heights of Canton in May 1841. This monument was erected in testimony of esteem and respect for their distinguished and lamented chief by the officers of the army and navy composing the China Expedition in 1841.
Lieut. D. FITZ GERALD late belonging to H.M.S. "Modeste" died 22nd June 1841 at Macao, from the effects of a wound received while gallantly storming the enemy's battery at Canton.
Captain DANIEL DUFF 37th Regiment Madras Navy Infantry, died at Macao 7th July 1841. Aged 39 years.
JAMES HOOKER died 11th July 1841. Aged 42 years.
